Reminds me of being in India sitting in a daba. Excellent paronthe and the karak chai is beautiful! Will be here every weekend and high recommend!
Very good authentic vegetarian Punjabi dhaba like food, quite tasty. Right bang on the junction so may be a bit awkward location wise but there seems to be car parking behind it however not sure about restrictions. Otherwise free parking available few mins walk on South Park drive. Next to Esso garage. Service is prompt and polite, all freshly made, definitely worth going back!
Three of us visited for lunch after some friends recommended Chaat Junction. It's a small dhaba type place with parking on the side. There is minimal seating available. We ordered a plate of mixed pakore which tasted delicious. Hot, crunchy, and they didn't seem like they were drenched in oil. We were given these to start on while our aloo parontha and mooli parontha were prepared. These came perfectly cooked and full of flavour. We got a bowl of yoghurt and some butter with it. There is pickle on the table if you wish to have some. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you fancy authentic punjabi cooked food.
I am the regular customer here, and food quality, atmosphere, service of girls is excellent but I want to give an advice to owner that you need more staff and at least hire one or two more girls because for single girl its very hectic because at the same time she has to make food as well as serve due to which sometimes food becomes cold because they have to serve many customers at same time which is very hard for single people and waiting time is very long sometimes. So please think about it otherwise everything is excellent
The food here was lovely, all homemade and fresh! The lady who served us was also really friendly. I’ll be coming here a lot more often for quick lunches!
It gets BUSY! Aloo paranta is exceptional in my husbands view and his mum makes the most epic homemade paranta. So I'd say the aloo paranta is the closest to traditional homemade. I suspect they use white flour (versus wholewheat) which also adds to them being so tasty. The paranta is served with a flavoursome dehi (yogurt/raita) and butter. Mixed achar (pickle) is available on the tables. The "chaat bowl" was delicious. They use pomegranate seeds which I love in a chaat. Plus fresh red onions - yum We also shared a portion of paneer pakora (deep fried Indian cheese: 2 layers of paneer with a green sauce, coated in batter and deep fried.) SO TASTY. all this for 13
